The Elmo On-The-Go Playset case is in the shape of Elmo's head. The round, red case has a handle and easily allows for take along play. The hinged, case can be opened or closed with a latch. Case measures 5.5 inches wide(when closed) and 5.25 inches tall (excluding handle). The set is themed like Elmo's room and includes an Elmo and Abby Cadabby figure. Age 18 months to 4 years.

 Great for Sesame Street Fans, = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: Fisher-Price Elmo On - The - Go Playset (Toy) My daughter received this toy when she was about 19-20 months old and now at 3 1/2 she still plays with it from time to time. Now to give the toy credit, she played with it A LOT for about the first 6 months she had it. Elmo and Abby are the perfect size for little hands and she would carry them around everywhere. I now have a son who is 14 months, so the toy is making another round in our house. The Elmo head, as we have dubbed it, has been put thru the toddler stress test (dropped, thrown, etc) and we have had no issues, it looks brand new. The little handle popped off once, but it was easy to push back in. Surprisingly enough, after 2 yrs and 2-3 moves we still have all the pieces. The only complaint (it is a small one) I have is that the head is a bit hard to open for little ones so be prepared to be handed the head by your toddler for some assistance...often. The price on Amazon (currently $40) is excessively high; I think my MIL got this at Target for about $15 so I... We take it along with us when we go out to eat so that she has something to keep her entertained during the wait. There is enough room in the little case to add a few more figures if you have some at home. The figures it comes with are a firmer rubber than most PVC figures and the Elmo is much more "cartoonish" than some, but still durable and easy to wipe clean. We like that several elements from "Elmo's World" are built into the playscape such as Dorothy and Elmo's computer. A very cute toy that I think most toddlers would enjoy. |
